Buscopan Cramps contains the active ingredient hyoscine butylbromide, which has an anti-spasmodic action that relaxes the muscles causing the spasm in the digestive tract to ease pain and discomfort of stomach cramps. Unlike painkillers which mask the pain, Buscopan Cramps works directly on the cause of pain - the spasm in the gut - to provide effective relief.
