Flomax Relief MR - 28 Capsules Product Description

Flomax Relief MR Tablets contain tamsulosin which reduces lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP), like getting up frequently at nigh to pee, needing to pee to often, and taking a while to get started. It acts as a gentle relaxant making it easier to pee and allowing the bladder to empty more completely. Flomax Relief MR reduces the number of trips you need to take to the bathroom making life that little bit easier and more comfortable for you.

How Flomax Works:

The great majority of BPH cases can be easily treated by taking simple oral medicines, and the most common are called alpha-blockers. These work by relaxing muscles in the prostate, relieving pressure on the urethra, thus enabling urine to flow more freely and reducing pain.

Flomax Relief is a new, over-the-counter alpha-blocker treatment for the urinary symptoms of BPH. Its main ingredient, tamsulosin, is an established and generally well-tolerated treatment that was previously only available on prescription. The drug binds selectively and competitively to relax the muscles surrounding the urethra, relieving pressure and allowing urine to flow more freely.

Effectiveness

Studies have shown tamsulosin to be significantly better than a placebo in improving urinary flow and relieving symptoms17, and there is no reduction in its strength over the long-term. It is as effective no matter how severe the symptoms.

Flomax Relief is fast-acting and will produce an effect after the first dose, usually relieving symptoms within 7-14 days. It works best if taken after the same meal each day19 because that slows its absorption into the intestine, enabling more constant plasma levels to be maintained.

How to take Flomax Relief MR Capsules:

  • For oral use only.
  • Only for men 45 to 75 years of age.
  • Take one capsule daily after the same meal each day.
  • Swallow the capsule whole with water.
  • Do not chew or crunch the capsule.
  • Record the first day you take Flomax and visit your Doctor WITHIN 6 weeks to confirm the symptoms are assocaited with BPH.
