Beechams Flu-Plus caplets provide powerful and effective relief from the major cold and flu symptoms and also convenient and easy to swallow, non-drowsiness. The caplets treat symptoms such as: Fever.Shivers aches and pains. Headaches. Congested nose and Sore throat. sinus pain. Dosage: Adults, elderly and children over 12: 2 caplets up to 4 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 caplet up to 4 times a day. Do not give to children under 6 years Warning do not take this medication if you have known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the other constituents.If you are suffering from hepatic or severe renal impairment, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or heart disease. Patients taking tricyclic antidepressants, or beta-blocking drugs and those who are taking or who have taken within the last two weeks monoamine oxidase inhibitors are also advised not to take this medicine. Patients should be advised not to take other paracetamol-containing products concurrently. Ingredients per caplet: Paracetamol 500 mg, Caffeine 25 mg and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg, The caplets also contain: Starch Pregel, Maize Starch, Povidone, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Laurilsulfate, Sunset Yellow (E 110), Stearic Acid, Talc and Microcrystalline Cellulose. The film coating consist of: Hypromellose, Polyethylene Glycol 400, Titanium Dioxide, Sunset Yellow Aluminium Lake (E 110) and Quinoline Yellow Lake (E 104).
