Cymex Ultra effectively treats the itchy tingling sensation and blisters brought on by cold sores. It contains aciclovir 5% cream which is an antiviral agent. If used at the tingling stage of a cold sore, it can help slow down the growth of the virus and speed up healing.Containing aciclovir (5 per cent), the cream claims to work in five days, treating the tingling sensation and blisters associated with cold sores. It should be used five times a day at four-hourly intervals.Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area five times a day at approximately four hourly intervals, to help get your lips back into tip-top shape.Ingredients: 5% w/w aciclovir, stearoyl macrogolglycerides, dimeticone, cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, propylene glycol and purified water.
