Hypromellose eye drops are also known as 'artificial tears'and are used in the eye to relieve dryness and irritation caused by a reduced flow of natural tears.

HYPROMELLOSE is an eye lubricant. the drops are used to treat conditions where not enough tears are made to keep the eye lubricated and clean.

the usual dose is 1 or 2 drops placed in each eye three times a day, however this may vary depending on the amount of lubrication needed.
