When you inhale through the mouthpiece a sensitive micro pressure switch activates the rechargeable battery and micro-electronics which immediately causes the vapour device to vaporise a tiny drop of the cartridge liquid. The vapour contains vaporised nicotine within the ‘mist’ which inturn is delivered straight to the blood stream via the lungs giving you that instant ‘smokers fix’ and a relief from cigarette craving. What is the Intellicig?The IntelliCIG EVOlution is a King size electronic cigarette measuring 108mm long and 8mm in diameter with a high powered lithium battery that maintains output across the maximum range. It features an upgraded pressure switch and a microprocessor that has been programmed to our exacting specifications in order to optimise both performance and safety. We have carefully remodelled the vapouriser to truly replicate the effect of smoking by means of a tapered heat chamber and increased element absorption area. That's a whole lot of high technology to squeeze into such a slender and elegant body, but that is what we specialise in.The IntelliCIG EVOlution has a safety cutout feature programmed into its microprocessor. Sucking on the EVO for 5 seconds or more will activate the cutout which switches the unit off for 2 minutes. This is designed to protect the vapouriser from overheating and to protect the user from overuse. We want our customers to enjoy the smoking sensation of the EVOlution but we also feel that we have an obligation to make that experience as healthy as possible, which is why we took a collective decision to include the cutout feature in the design. Is the IntelliCIG safe?Most harmful products in a regular cigarette are produced as a result of the combustion / burning of the tobacco / paper etc. eg carbon monoxide or any of the other 4800+ chemicals and carcinogens that tobacco smoke produces. In the IntelliCIG, because there is no combustion whatsoever there are no toxins or by-products produced by combustion. What's in the IntelliCIG cartridge?The main ingredient in the IntelliCIG cartridge is propylene glycol. The other main ingredients present are flavourings, nicotine and water. The liquid contains no known harmful chemicals! The cartridge contains highly purified nicotine. Nicotine is a natural alkaloid exctracted from the tobacco leaf and / or other plants containing nicotine. Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known and is a main ingredient that makes smokers become addicted to the habit. When a person inhales a cigarette, nicotine enters the blood within 7-10 seconds giving the regular smoker that satisfied feeling. How Long Do The Cartridges REALLY Last?Typically, assuming approx 15 inhalations using a regular cigarette, you can expect 1 cartridge to last the equivalent of 5 - 7 cigarettes.IntelliCIG beats the smoking ban!IntelliCIG can be legally used inside public places, where ordinary cigarettes are banned. The reason for this is simple. The Health Act 2006 states:“Smoking” refers to smoking tobacco or anything which contains tobacco, or smoking any other substance, andSmoking includes being in possession of lit tobacco or of anything lit, which contains tobacco, or being in possession of any other lit substance in a form in which it could be smoked.With IntelliCIG there is no tobacco and never is any part lit. The smoke that is exhaled is merely a combination of water and excess nicotine vapour, which does not smell nor linger like ordinary cigarettes.
