Otrivine Antistin Eye Drops 10ml Product Description
Otrivine Antistin eye drops are used for the temporary relief of redness and itching of the eye due to seasonal and perennial allergies such as hayfever, or allergy due to house dust.
Otrivine Anistin belongs to the group of medicines known as anti-inflammatory eye preparations. These eye drops are used to relieve the eye symptoms of hayfever. Exposure to irritants such as plant pollens, pet fur or pollution can cause the body to produce a chemical called histamine. The release of histamine can cause allergic symptoms such as red, itchy, sticky and watery eyes, often referred to as hayfever. These eye drops relieve the eye symptoms of hayfever by blocking the action of histamine in the body.
Directions for the use of Otrivine Antistin Eye Drops:
The usual dosage is: Adults: One or two drops in each eye, two or three times each day Elderly and children over 5 years: One drop in each eye, two or three times each day These drops are not recommended for use in children under the age of 5 years.
Otrivine Antistin Eye Drops contains the following ingredients:
Xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.05% w/v) and antazoline sulphate (0.05% w/v). benzalkonium chloride, boric acid, disodium edetate, sodium tetraborate and water.
Always read all packaging and directions carefully before using your purchases.
