Why is anti bacterial hand sanitiser so important?

Washing your hands is very important to stop the spread of germs. One of the fastest ways that germs are spread is through peoples hands, spreading illness and infections. Although your hands may look clean, they can still carry bacteria. Washing your hands with soap and water is the most effective way to keep them clean, however as soap and water is not always available it is always good to carry hand sanitiser with you as an alternative.
