Dosage & how to take

• Adults, elderly & children 12+ years: 15 ml (three 5 ml spoonfuls) per dose.
• Leave at least 6 hours between doses.
• Maximum 3 doses in any 24 hours.
• Do not give to children under 12 years.

For oral use. Always measure doses carefully. If symptoms persist, worsen or you develop a high fever, shortness of breath, or chest pain, seek medical advice.

Ingredients

Active: Guaifenesin 200 mg per 15 ml dose.

Also contains: sorbitol (approx. 3.1 g per 15 ml), glycerol, sweeteners (e.g. sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin), flavours (including menthol), permitted colours, preservatives (e.g. potassium sorbate), and other standard excipients. See carton/leaflet for full list.

Warnings & precautions

• Do not take if you are allergic to guaifenesin or any of the ingredients, or if you have been told you have porphyria.
• Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have persistent cough, asthma, chronic cough due to smoking, or other long-term breathing problems.
• Contains sorbitol (~3.1 g/15 ml). If you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before use. Excessive intake may cause gastrointestinal discomfort.
• Do not take with other cough and cold medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.
• Pregnancy & breastfeeding: ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.
• Side effects: If you experience unwanted effects (e.g., stomach upset, rash), stop taking and consult a healthcare professional. In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25 °C. Do not use after the expiry date. Always read the label/leaflet.
