How to take
- Check the capsule colour to ensure you’re taking the correct Day or Night dose.
- Swallow with water; do not chew.
- Space doses at least 4 hours apart.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over:
- Day capsules: Swallow two capsules with water every 4–6 hours as needed.
- Night capsules: Take two capsules at bedtime, if needed.
- Do not exceed the stated dose on your pack.
- Maximum in 24 hours: Typically up to 8 capsules in total (including both Day and Night), but follow your specific pack instructions.
- Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours.
- Not for children under 16 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
If symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms appear, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
Warnings & Precautions
- Contains paracetamol (acetaminophen): Do not take with any other medicines that contain paracetamol. Overdose may cause serious liver damage.
- Avoid combining with other cold & flu, pain, or decongestant products unless a healthcare professional says it’s okay.
- If your pack lists a decongestant (e.g., phenylephrine), speak to your pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or if you are taking antidepressants (including MAOIs) or other medicines affecting blood pressure.
- If your pack lists caffeine, limit other sources of caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks) to avoid restlessness or sleep disturbance.
- Alcohol: Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine.
- Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.
- Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Check the leaflet for excipients (e.g., colourants).
- Liver or kidney problems: Consult your doctor before use and stick to lower end of dosing range if advised.
- Side effects: Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties), or if you feel unwell after taking the medicine.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
