Dosage & How to Use
For inhalation (blocked nose & sinus congestion)
- Adults & children aged 2 years and over: Add 2–3 drops to a tissue and inhale the vapours. Alternatively, add to hot (not boiling) water and inhale the steam. Can also be left in the room at night.
- Infants 3 months to under 2 years: Add 1 drop to a tissue and hold it near (not on) the child so they can breathe the vapours. Do not allow direct contact with skin. Consider the gentler “Olbas for Children” formulation.
- Not recommended for babies under 3 months.
As a rub (muscular aches)
- Adults & children 12 years and over: Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage lightly up to 3 times daily on unbroken skin.
- Children under 12 years: Do not use as a rub unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Tip: When using hot water for inhalation, take care—hot water may scald. Close supervision is essential with young children.
