How It Works

Topical Rub
- Adults & children 2+ years: Rub a thick, even layer onto chest, throat, and back up to 3 times daily (especially before bedtime). Gently massage in. Keep clothing loose to allow vapours to reach the nose and mouth.
- Children under 2 years: Do not use.
Steam Inhalation (if desired)
- Dissolve ½–1 teaspoon of ointment in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water and inhale the vapours for 5–10 minutes. Use up to 3 times daily.
- Do not heat VapoRub on the stove, in a microwave, or place the bowl on an open flame. Do not reheat the mixture.

- For external use only. Do not swallow.
- Do not apply to nostrils, mouth, eyes, or broken/irritated skin.
- Do not bandage tightly or use with heating pads or hot water bottles.

- Keep out of the sight and reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical help immediately.
