How to Use
Use as part of your normal oral hygiene routine. Brush teeth thoroughly twice daily and clean interdentally where possible. Apply the gel after normal brushing to the specific area(s) of concern.
- Wash hands and ensure affected area is clean.
- Apply a thin film of gel directly to the gums/area needing care using a clean finger or a soft brush.
- Avoid eating or drinking for a short time after application to allow the gel to act.
Dosage
- Adults and children 12+ years: Apply a thin layer to the affected area(s) up to several times daily, as directed on pack or by a dental professional.
- Children under 12 years: Only use on medical or dental advice.
For short-term use only. Do not exceed the recommended frequency on the product packaging. If symptoms persist, worsen, or reoccur, seek advice from a dentist or healthcare professional.
Warnings & Safety
- For oral use only. Do not swallow large quantities. Spit out excess after use.
- Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (including chlorhexidine or related compounds).
- Staining: Prolonged use may cause temporary staining of teeth, tongue, or fillings. This can usually be removed by dental cleaning.
- Taste changes: Temporary alteration in taste may occur.
- Eyes & ears: Keep out of eyes and ears. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.
- Toothpaste interaction: Some toothpastes (especially those containing strong anionic agents like SLS) may reduce effectiveness. If advised on pack, use the gel at a different time from toothpaste.
- Irritation: Stop use and seek advice if irritation, swelling, or rash occurs.
- Medical advice: Talk to a dentist/doctor before use if you have ongoing mouth or gum problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or need to use for longer than directed.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage
- Store below the temperature indicated on the pack.
- Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the tube and carton.
