Earol Baby Olive Oil Spray is a gentle, metered-dose ear spray designed to soften and loosen earwax in babies and children aged 6 months to 12 years. Its carefully measured spray delivers a small amount of oil into the ear canal without the mess associated with traditional ear drops.
The blend of pharmaceutical-grade olive oil and mineral oil helps moisturise dry or hardened earwax, allowing it to break up and leave the ear naturally or making it easier for a healthcare professional to remove. It may also help soothe itching and irritation associated with dry earwax.
The compact 10ml bottle features a tapered nozzle designed for smaller ear canals. Each measured spray delivers approximately 0.05ml of solution.

Dosage and Directions
For children aged 6 months to 12 years:
- Gently lift and pull the upper part of the outer ear outwards to open the ear canal.
- Place the nozzle at the entrance of the ear canal. Do not push it deeply into the ear.
- Apply one measured spray into the affected ear.
- Gently massage the tragus, the small bump on the outside of the ear, to help distribute the oil.
Before professional earwax removal: Apply one spray to the affected ear twice daily for up to 7 days, or as advised by a doctor, pharmacist, audiologist or other healthcare professional.
For ongoing earwax care: Apply one spray once weekly after wax removal, where recommended by a healthcare professional.
Always read the instructions supplied with the product before use. Do not exceed the recommended application.
Warnings
- For use in the ear canal only.
- Do not use in children under 6 months of age.
- Do not use if the child is allergic or sensitive to olive oil, mineral oil or other vegetable oils.
- Do not insert the spray nozzle deeply into the ear canal.
- Do not insert cotton buds, fingers or other objects into the ear canal.
- Avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Seek medical advice before use if the child has a known or suspected perforated eardrum, previous ear surgery, ear tubes or an existing ear condition.
- Do not use without medical advice if the child has severe ear pain, swelling, bleeding, dizziness, sudden hearing loss, fever or yellow-green discharge from the ear.
- Stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional if irritation, discomfort or sensitivity occurs.
- If symptoms persist or the earwax blockage does not improve, consult a GP, pharmacist, health visitor or audiologist.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Use only as directed and retain the packaging and instructions for future reference.
