Dosage & Directions for Use

For adults 18 years and over only. For nasal use only.

• Usual starting dose: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily (preferably in the morning).
• Once symptoms are under control, reduce to 1 spray into each nostril once daily.
• If symptoms are especially severe, your pharmacist or doctor may advise:
  • 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily for a short period.
• Maximum dose: Do not use more than 4 sprays in each nostril in 24 hours (8 sprays total per day).
• Use every day during your allergy season or as advised to maintain protection. It may take 3–4 days to reach full effect.

Directions:

• Shake the bottle gently before each use.
• Blow your nose gently.
• Close one nostril, insert the nozzle into the other.
• While breathing in gently through the nose, press down to release a spray.
• Repeat in the other nostril as directed.
• Wipe the nozzle and replace the cap after use.

Warnings & Precautions

Always read the label and the enclosed Patient Information Leaflet before use.

• Age restriction: Not for use in children and adolescents under 18 years.
• Do not use if you are allergic to fluticasone propionate or any of the ingredients listed in the leaflet.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if:
  • you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding;
  • you have an infection in your nose or sinuses;
  • you have recently had nasal surgery or injury;
  • you are taking or have recently taken other steroid medicines (including inhalers, tablets, creams, eye or nasal drops);
  • you have liver problems or any condition affecting your immune system.
• Do not use continuously for longer than recommended on the pack or leaflet without medical advice (typically not longer
  than 3 months for continuous use unless advised by a doctor).
• If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they worsen, seek medical advice.
• Stop using and seek immediate medical help if you experience:
  • swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat;
  • difficulty breathing or swallowing;
  • severe rash or itching;
  • severe nosebleeds or persistent irritation in the nose.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Fluticasone propionate (0.05% w/w or equivalent strength as stated on pack).

Other ingredients: Include dispersing agents, preservatives and stabilisers.

Storage

• Store below the maximum temperature stated on the packaging.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
