How to prepare

1. Empty the contents of one sachet into a mug.
2. Add hot (not boiling) water, stir until dissolved.
3. Sweeten to taste if desired. Sip while warm.

Warnings & precautions

• Do not take if you have a serious heart condition, high blood pressure or overactive thyroid, or if you are taking (or have taken within 14 days) MAOIs for depression, or other sympathomimetic decongestants.
• Talk to your doctor/pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems (including non-cirrhotic liver disease), Raynaud’s syndrome, diabetes, closed-angle glaucoma, prostate enlargement, or if you are taking blood thinners (e.g. warfarin), beta-blockers, tricyclic antidepressants, or other cold & flu medicines.
• If you are taking the antibiotic flucloxacillin, there is a risk of a serious blood/acid imbalance when combined with high doses of paracetamol in some situations — seek medical advice before use.
• Phenylketonuria (PKU): contains aspartame (a source of phenylalanine).
• Each sachet contains approx. 129 mg sodium and 2.18 g sugars; consider if you are on low-sodium or diabetic diets.
• Pregnancy/breast-feeding: ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use (not recommended if there is a history of pre-eclampsia).
• Stop use and seek medical advice if you develop allergic reactions, skin rash, or if symptoms persist >3 days or worsen.
• Overdose warning: immediate medical advice is essential even if you feel well, because too much paracetamol can cause delayed, serious liver damage.

Also contains: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), sugars (including caster sugar/sucrose), sodium citrate, citric acid anhydrous, honey & ginger flavour, sweeteners (e.g. aspartame — a source of phenylalanine), saccharin sodium, colouring agents, sucrose and sodium per sachet.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 25 °C in the original pack.
• Check expiry date on pack; do not use after expiry month/year.
