Migraleve Pink tablets are used at the first sign of a migraine. They contain a combination of paracetamol, codeine phosphate and buclizine hydrochloride to treat migraine pain and associated nausea.
Key features
- Triple-action formula: analgesic + anti-emetic for migraine symptoms.
- For short-term use only (maximum 3 days) due to the presence of codeine.
- Ages 12+. Not suitable for children under 12 years.
How to store
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
- Return unused medicine to a pharmacy; do not dispose of via household waste.

Dosage & how to take
Swallow with water at the first sign of a migraine. Subsequent doses (if needed) are taken as Migraleve Yellow tablets, not additional Pink tablets.

Do not take more than one Pink tablet in 24 hours if aged 12–15, or more than two Pink tablets in 24 hours if aged 16+. Do not take for more than 3 days. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Active ingredients (per pink tablet)
The active ingredients in each MIGRALEVE® Pink tablet are: Paracetamol DC 96%
520 mg equivalent to Paracetamol 500 mg, Codeine phosphate 8 mg and Buclizine hydrochloride
6.25 mg.
Other ingredients are: magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid,
pregelatinised maize starch, gelatin, hypromellose, macrogol, E127 (erythrosine), aluminium
oxide and E171 (titanium dioxide).

Important warnings & safety information
- Contains paracetamol: do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
- Codeine can cause addiction and headache if used for more than 3 days. For short-term use only.
- Do not use if breastfeeding. If pregnant, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.
- Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, codeine, buclizine or any excipient; after tonsil/adenoid removal (under 18s); if you have shallow breathing, a blocked bowel, head injury/raised intracranial pressure, or if you know you are a CYP2D6 ultra-rapid metaboliser of codeine.
- Talk to a pharmacist/doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease (including alcoholic liver disease), breathing or lung problems (e.g., asthma), prostate problems or urinary retention, glaucoma, epilepsy, or if you take other medicines (e.g., benzodiazepines, sedatives, MAOIs, metoclopramide/domperidone, warfarin or other anticoagulants, enzyme-inducing antiepileptics).
- May cause drowsiness or dizziness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
- Overdose warning: immediate medical advice is critical, even if you feel well (risk of serious liver damage from paracetamol).
