Dosage & Directions

1. Patch test first: Apply to a small area for 2–3 days to check tolerance.
2. Start once daily: Wet skin, lather a small amount (about a pea to marble size) in your hands, apply to affected areas.
3. Contact time: Leave on skin for 1–2 minutes initially, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Pat dry.
4. Increase if needed: If well tolerated after several days, you may increase contact time up to 5 minutes and/or use twice daily (morning and evening).
5. Moisturise & protect: Follow with a non-comedogenic moisturiser. Use SPF 30+ by day.

Tip: If dryness or irritation occurs, reduce frequency, shorten contact time, or alternate days.

Warnings & Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, mouth, inside of nose, and broken or eczematous skin.
• Irritation is possible (dryness, peeling, redness, burning). If severe irritation or swelling occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.
• Bleaching risk: May bleach hair, towels, clothing, or bedding. Rinse hands well after use and allow skin to dry before dressing.
• Sun sensitivity: BPO can increase sensitivity to sunlight/UV. Limit sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen.
• Interactions: Using with other potent topicals (e.g., retinoids, AHAs/BHAs) may increase irritation. If used together, apply at different times of day.
• Allergy: Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or any ingredient.
• Age: Not usually recommended for children under 12 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Generally considered low systemic absorption, but consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. If breastfeeding, avoid application on the chest area.
• If symptoms persist, worsen, or you develop severe dryness or peeling, consult a healthcare professional.

Storage

• Keep tightly closed and store below 25°C (room temperature).
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
