How to Use

Use Dermol Wash whenever you would normally use soap or cleanser.

• Wet the skin.
• Apply a sufficient amount of Dermol Wash to the hands and gently massage onto the affected areas.
• Rinse off with lukewarm water.
• Pat dry gently with a soft towel (avoid vigorous rubbing).

Dermol Wash may also be smoothed onto the skin as a leave-on emollient after washing and drying if
additional moisturisation is required.

Dosage & Directions for Use

• Adults, elderly, and children (including infants): use as often as needed.
• As a wash, apply enough product to cover the area being cleansed; there is no fixed “dose” per use.
• For very dry or eczema-prone areas, it may be reapplied as a thin layer after washing and left on the skin.
• Can be used for frequent handwashing (e.g. healthcare, carer, or occupational use).
• Always follow any additional instructions given by your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

Active Ingredients

Each 200ml pack contains a cutaneous emulsion with:

• Isopropyl myristate – emollient to soften and smooth the skin.
• Liquid paraffin – occlusive emollient to help lock in moisture.
• Benzalkonium chloride – antimicrobial agent.
• Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride – antimicrobial agent.

Warnings & Precautions

• For external use only.
• Do not swallow. If accidentally ingested, seek medical advice immediately.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to isopropyl myristate, liquid paraffin,
  benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, or any other ingredient in this product.
• Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if:
  • skin irritation, redness, burning, rash, or itching worsens or does not improve, or
  • you notice signs of infection (such as oozing, crusting, heat, or swelling).
• This product contains paraffin. Fabrics (such as clothing, bedding, dressings) in contact with
  Dermol Wash may be more easily ignited. Keep away from naked flames and other sources of ignition.
  Change and wash fabrics regularly to reduce product build-up.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have extensive or severely inflamed skin, speak to your
  doctor or pharmacist before use.
• Check with a healthcare professional before using with other topical products on the same area.
• If symptoms persist or recur regularly, seek medical advice.

Storage

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
• Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
