Directions / Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and over:

• Wash and gently dry the affected area.
• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area.
• Gently rub in until the cream disappears.
• Use 1 to 3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Use for up to 7 days unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise.

Children under 12 years: use only on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.

Face, flexures, or broken skin: use only if advised, and for the shortest time possible.

Warnings

• Do not use if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any of the ingredients.
• Do not use on the face, eyes, eyelids, genitals, groin, or broken/infected skin unless specifically told to by a healthcare professional.
• Do not use on acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, or widespread skin infections (bacterial, fungal, or viral such as cold sores, chickenpox, shingles).
• Do not cover with airtight or occlusive dressings unless directed, as this increases absorption.
• Do not use for longer than 7 days without medical advice.
• Stop using and seek advice if irritation, worsening of symptoms, or no improvement after 7 days.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
• For external use only. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Ingredients

Active: Hydrocortisone 1% w/w.

Excipients: May contain emulsifiers, preservatives, and emollients. Check the carton for the full list if you have allergies.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
