How to apply
- Wash and dry the affected area gently.
- External use: Apply a small amount to the affected area.
- Internal use (if advised): Screw on the applicator, squeeze a small amount into the applicator to lubricate, insert gently, then apply a thin layer inside the back passage. Clean the nozzle after use.
- Wash hands after application.
Dosage & directions
Unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional:
- Apply morning and night and after each bowel movement, up to 4 times daily.
- Use the smallest amount needed to relieve symptoms.
- Duration: Do not use for more than 7 days continuously without medical advice.
- Do not use on broken skin. Do not exceed the recommended frequency.
Helpful tips
- Increase fibre and water intake to avoid straining.
- Avoid prolonged sitting; keep active and take warm baths to soothe discomfort.
- Do not delay bowel movements and avoid excessive wiping—use gentle cleansing.
Warnings & precautions
- For rectal use only. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Do not use if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any of the ingredients.
- Consult a doctor before use if you have rectal bleeding, severe pain, black/tarry stools, persistent change in bowel habits, or symptoms that do not improve within 7 days.
- Do not use if you have a bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infection in the area unless directed by a doctor.
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or broken/ulcerated skin.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if you notice irritation, rash, or worsening symptoms.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical advice before use.
- Do not share the applicator; clean thoroughly after each use.
Storage
- Store below 25°C in the original carton with the cap tightly closed.
- Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
