- Talk to your doctor/pharmacist before use if you have sarcoidosis, are on a low-phosphate or low-sodium diet, or have a history of kidney stones.
- Medicine & supplement interactions: Calcium can reduce absorption of some medicines (e.g., levothyroxine, bisphosphonates, iron, zinc, magnesium, tetracyclines/quinolones). Take these at a different time of day, typically at least 2–4 hours apart. Thiazide diuretics may increase blood calcium—seek medical advice.
- Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Usually considered suitable at recommended doses; seek individual advice from a healthcare professional.
- Side effects: Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort (e.g., constipation, gas). Stop use and seek advice if you experience persistent symptoms or signs of high calcium (e.g., unusual thirst, frequent urination, abdominal pain).
Always read the label and the patient information leaflet. If symptoms persist or you are unsure this product is right for you, consult a healthcare professional.
