Dosage

Apply Canesten Cream thinly and evenly to the affected area two to three times daily
and rub in gently. A small strip of cream is usually enough to treat an area about the size of the hand.

Treatment should usually continue for at least 2 weeks, although
up to 4 weeks may be needed depending on the type and severity of the infection.
For athlete’s foot, wash and dry the feet thoroughly, especially between the toes, before application.

Warnings

• For external use only.
• Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.
• Do not use to treat nail or scalp infections.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas.
• If swallowed accidentally, seek medical advice immediately.
• Do not smoke or go near naked flames while using this product. Fabric such as clothing,
  bedding, and dressings that has been in contact with the cream burns more easily and poses
  a serious fire hazard.
• This product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives such as condoms and
  diaphragms if used on the vulva or penis. Use alternative contraceptive precautions for
  at least 5 days after use.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying for a baby, speak to your doctor, pharmacist,
  or midwife before use. If applied to the nipple area, wash before breastfeeding.
• If symptoms worsen, persist, or do not improve after treatment, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Clotrimazole 1% w/w

Other ingredients: Benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate,
cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, and purified water.

Storage

• Store in the original carton.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
