Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment helps care for your baby’s delicate skin by forming a protective barrier against the irritants that can contribute to nappy rash.
Its gentle, unscented formula helps keep the skin soft and smooth while supporting the skin’s natural protective barrier. Suitable for use from birth onwards, it can be applied as part of your baby’s everyday nappy-changing routine.
The formula is suitable for vegans and contains no lanolin. Please note that Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment is intended to help prevent nappy rash and is not a treatment for an existing rash.

Dosage and Directions for Use
- Wash your hands before use.
- Gently clean and dry the affected nappy area.
- Apply a thin, even layer of ointment to the skin.
- Use at every nappy change as required.
- Replace the cap securely after use.
Warnings
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Do not use if you or your child is allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Do not apply to broken, badly cracked, infected, inflamed or bleeding skin.
- Rarely, mild skin reactions such as redness or a rash may occur. Stop using the product and speak to a doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns.
- If accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the product packaging.
- Contains titanium dioxide, which may leave white marks on dark fabrics.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Store below 25°C in the original carton.
- If nappy rash is already present, persistent, worsening or causing concern, seek advice from a pharmacist, health visitor or doctor.
