Dosage

Adults:

• Internal cream: Insert the contents of 1 full applicator (about 5g)
  into the vagina, preferably at night, as a single dose.
• External cream: Apply a thin layer to the affected external area
  2 to 3 times daily and rub in gently until the symptoms improve.

Always use exactly as directed in the patient leaflet. If symptoms persist, worsen, or return,
seek medical advice.

Warnings

• Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole, cetostearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, or any of the other ingredients.
• Do not use during your period, as treatment may be less effective.
• Do not use to treat nail or scalp infections.
• Speak to a doctor before use if this is the first time you have had thrush symptoms, if you are
  under 16 or over 60, or if you have had more than two infections in the last 6 months.
• Seek medical advice before use if you have irregular or abnormal vaginal bleeding, blood-stained
  discharge, ulcers, blisters, sores, lower abdominal pain, pain passing urine, fever, chills,
  nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, or a foul-smelling discharge.
• Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions such as contact dermatitis.
  Benzyl alcohol may cause allergic reactions and mild local irritation.
• Canesten Thrush Combi Internal & External Creams can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding,
  but you should tell your doctor or midwife before use.

External cream:

• Other ingredients: Benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, purified water
