Fluconazole Fungal Infection Capsule

Fluconazole Fungal Infection Capsule

Fluconazole is an antifungal medication used to treat a genital thrush. Each capsule contains 150mg of fluconazole, a potent antifungal agent. It works by stopping the growth of fungi, thereby relieving symptoms and curing the infection.

It is important to complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve before the medication is finished. Failure to do so may result in the infection returning or becoming resistant to the medication.

Common side effects may include nausea, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, it is important to consult a doctor promptly.

Before taking fluconazole, inform your doctor about any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you are currently taking, especially blood thinners, cisapride, or certain cholesterol-lowering medications.

Keep this medication out of reach of children and store it at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not use fluconazole past the expiration date printed on the label.

If you experience any serious side effects such as severe dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or signs of liver problems, seek immediate medical attention.

Consult your healthcare provider for more information about fluconazole and whether it is the right treatment option for your fungal infection.
