Dosage & How to Use

Always use exactly as directed on the label or as advised by a healthcare professional.

1. Wash and dry your hands.
2. Tilt your head back and look upwards.
3. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
4. Holding the bottle above the eye, instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s).
5. Blink several times to spread the drops evenly.

Typical use: 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s), 3 to 4 times daily, or as needed. Do not exceed the recommended frequency unless instructed by your doctor.

Contact lenses: Some hypromellose products can be used with contact lenses, but not all. Check that the brand of contact lenses is suitable before using with this product. Refer to your opticians guidance before using this product on contact lenses.

Warnings & Precautions

• For ocular (eye) use only. Do not swallow.
• Do not use if you are allergic to hypromellose or any of the other ingredients.
• Do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surface or to your eye to avoid contamination.
• Stop using and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation, redness or pain worsens or does not improve.
• If your vision is blurred after using the drops, do not drive or operate machinery until your vision has cleared.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Use within the period stated on the bottle after first opening (often 28 days, but follow your product’s specific instructions).

Possible Side Effects

Like all eye preparations, these drops can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. You may experience mild, temporary stinging or blurred vision immediately after administration. This should pass quickly. If you notice signs of an allergic reaction (such as swelling, severe redness, rash or difficulty breathing), seek medical attention.

Storage

• Store below 25°C, in the original container, tightly closed.
• Do not freeze.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
