Overview

CALPOL® SixPlus brings down fever and relieves mild to moderate pain, including headaches, toothache, sore throat, earache, muscle aches, cold & flu symptoms, and post-immunisation fever (where appropriate).

How to use & dosage

Shake well for at least 10 seconds before use. Always use the supplied measuring device for accuracy.

8–10 years	7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml)	Up to 4 times in 24 hours
10–12 years	10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml)	Up to 4 times in 24 hours
12–16 years	10–15 ml	Up to 4 times in 24 hours
Adults & 16+ years	10–20 ml	Up to 4 times in 24 hours

Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period.
Not for children under 6 years.
Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.

Always read the label and the Patient Information Leaflet. Use the lowest dose that relieves symptoms.

Active ingredient

Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 ml oral suspension.

Also contains polyols (e.g., maltitol, sorbitol). See label for full list of ingredients.

Warnings & precautions

Contains paracetamol. Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products (including cold & flu remedies).
Do not use if your child is allergic to paracetamol or any ingredients.
Talk to a doctor/pharmacist before use if your child has liver or kidney problems, or is taking blood thinners (e.g., warfarin) or other medicines.
If symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms occur, seek medical advice.
Overdose warning: Immediate medical advice is essential in the event of an overdose, even if your child seems well.
Contains polyols (e.g., maltitol, sorbitol) — excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. If advised to avoid sugar alcohols, consult a healthcare professional.
