1 × 5g aluminium tube of Hylo-Night Eye Ointment with protective cap and patient leaflet.Dosage & How to Use
- Wash and dry your hands.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Squeeze a small ribbon (~1 cm) of ointment into the pocket. Avoid touching the tip to the eye or any surface.
- Close your eye gently for a few seconds to spread the ointment evenly.
Recommended use: Apply once nightly at bedtime to each affected eye, or as directed by your eye-care professional.
Tip: Temporary blurred vision is normal with ointments. Night-time use helps minimise impact on vision.
Warnings & Precautions
- For ophthalmic use only. Do not inject or swallow.
- Temporary blurred vision can occur after use; do not drive or operate machinery until vision clears.
- Contact lenses: remove lenses before applying. Wait at least 15–30 minutes before reinserting, or follow advice from your eye-care professional.
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- To avoid contamination, do not touch the tube tip to the eye, fingers, or any surface.
- If symptoms persist, worsen, or you experience eye pain, changes in vision, or persistent redness, seek medical advice.
- During pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional before use.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage
- Store below 25 °C and keep the tube tightly closed.
- Use only until the expiry date on the pack.
- After first opening, follow the in-pack leaflet for the recommended in-use period.
