Overview

- If pain or fever persists for more than 3 days (adults) or 24 hours (children), seek medical advice.
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Accidental overdose can cause serious liver damage.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney disease, chronic alcohol use, Gilbert’s syndrome, are on a low-sodium diet (soluble tablets contain sodium), or if you weigh under 50 kg.
- Drug interactions: Long-term or frequent use of paracetamol may enhance the effect of warfarin and other coumarin anticoagulants (raise INR). Seek advice if you take anticoagulants or enzyme-inducing medicines.
- Allergy/skin reactions: Stop use and seek medical help if you develop rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, blistering, or peeling skin.
- Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Paracetamol is generally considered suitable at recommended doses; however, use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Consult a healthcare professional if unsure.
- Alcohol: Avoid excessive alcohol while taking paracetamol.
- Overdose: Immediate medical advice is essential—even if you feel well—due to risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Seek emergency help right away.
