What is Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel?

Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel helps to relieve dry, chapped, itchy, red and sore skin associated with eczema and other types of dermatitis, psoriasis, elderly skin and ichthyosis. This “soap substitute” is specifically formulated to be non-foaming and fragrance-free. When added to water it will help to cleanse, soften, moisturise and protect your skin by locking in moisture and restoring your skin’s natural moisture levels. It also helps to prevent the skin from drying out and becoming irritated from ordinary soaps with foaming additives and fragrances. Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel will also prevent flare-ups of your particular skin condition. Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel is suitable for all age groups including babies. It can be used with any other emollients or skin treatments prescribed by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

How To Use Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel.

Use in place or your normal shower gel, soap or handwash. Use the product everytime you wash including when you wash your hands. Apply to the skin the same way you would apply any liquid soap. Please note that the product will not foam or lather as you wash. After use rinse the skin thoroughly and pat dry with a soft towel.

Warnings For Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel.

Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. Try not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations. Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time
