It creates a protective barrier to lock in moisture, soothe discomfort, and reduce further dryness. How to Use
As a leave-on moisturiser
- Wash or cleanse hands before use.
- Warm a small amount between clean fingers.
- Apply in the direction of hair growth to avoid follicle irritation.
- Reapply frequently to very dry areas, especially after washing and before bed.
As a soap substitute
- Scoop a small amount and lather with warm water.
- Gently cleanse the skin and rinse. Pat dry (do not rub).
As a bath additive
- Stir a small amount into hot water to dissolve, then add to the bath.
- Take care — surfaces may become slippery.
Dosage / Frequency
Adults & children: Apply a thin to moderately thick layer to affected areas as often as needed to keep
skin comfortable and supple (commonly 3–4 times daily during flare-ups, then as required for maintenance). For washing,
use enough to replace your usual soap/cleanser. For a standard bath, dissolve a small spoonful in hot water first, then add to the bath.
Tip: Frequent, generous application is more effective than occasional heavy application.

- Yellow Soft Paraffin – provides an occlusive barrier to lock in moisture.
- Liquid Paraffin – softens and smooths rough, dry skin.
- Emulsifying Wax – helps the ointment disperse with water for washing/bathing.
Texture & Feel
Rich, ointment texture. Melts with body heat and leaves a protective, slightly glossy film on the skin.
Warnings & Precautions
- For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin (unless advised).
- Fire hazard: Ointments containing paraffin can soak into clothing, bedding, dressings and become easily flammable.
Keep away from open flames, cigarettes, and ignition sources. Change fabrics regularly and wash at high temperatures. - Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Stop use and seek advice if irritation or worsening occurs.
