Cleen (formerly Fleet) Ready To Use Enema – 133ml
Cleen (formerly known as Fleet) Ready To Use Enema is a pre-mixed, single-use phosphate enema designed for rapid and predictable relief of occasional constipation. It delivers a carefully measured dose of solution directly into the rectum to help soften stool and stimulate a bowel movement, typically within minutes. No mixing, no measuring – just open, lubricate (if needed) and use.
Key features:
- Pre-filled 133ml bottle – no preparation required
- Comfortable, lubricated applicator tip
- Fast-acting relief – usually produces a bowel movement within 2–5 minutes*
- Ideal when oral laxatives are not suitable or time is limited
- From the brand formerly known as Fleet
*Onset of action can vary from person to person.
Who is it for?
Suitable for adults and adolescents when relief of occasional constipation is needed, or when a rapid bowel evacuation is required on the advice of a healthcare professional (for example, before certain examinations).
How it works
The enema solution increases the amount of water in the bowel and gently stretches the rectal walls. This stimulates the natural urge to have a bowel movement and helps the stool pass more easily.
Disclaimer
Product names, formula and packaging can change. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure whether a phosphate enema is suitable for you, especially if you have kidney, heart, or electrolyte problems, seek medical advice first.
Directions for use
- Wash your hands and, if possible, empty your bladder before use.
- Shake the bottle gently if instructed on the pack.
- Remove the protective cap from the applicator tip. If desired, add extra water-based lubricant.
- Lie on your left side with knees bent, or kneel and lower your head and chest forward.
- Gently insert the applicator tip into the rectum.
- Slowly squeeze the bottle until most of the liquid has been expelled.
- Remove the tip while still squeezing to prevent the liquid from flowing back.
- Remain in position for a few minutes, or until the urge to evacuate is strong.
Discard after single use. Do not reuse the bottle or tip.
