Drapolene Cream is a gentle, soothing cream traditionally used to help prevent and treat nappy rash and to calm chapped, tender or irritated skin. Is it suitable for daily use? Yes—apply thinly as part of your regular skincare or nappy-change routine. Can I use it with other creams? Babies & Children (Nappy Rash)
- Gently cleanse the area and pat dry.
- Apply a thin, even layer of cream to the whole nappy area.
- Use at every nappy change and again after bath time.
Adults & Older Children (Irritated/Chapped Skin)
- Clean and dry the affected skin.
- Apply a thin film to cover the area.
- Reapply 2–3 times daily, or as needed to maintain protection.
Use the smallest amount needed to create a light protective layer—more is not necessarily better.
Warnings & Precautions
- External use only. Do not swallow.
- Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (including common antiseptics such as quaternary ammonium compounds like cetrimide or benzalkonium chloride).
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and inner nostrils. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Broken skin: Do not use on deep, open, or infected wounds, or severe burns. Seek medical advice.
- Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if irritation or symptoms persist, worsen, or spread after a few days.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional before use if you have any concerns.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Fabric/fire safety: Residue from oily or emollient creams can make fabrics more flammable. Keep clothing, bedding, dressings, and nappies away from naked flames and heat sources; change/clean regularly.
- Storage: Store below 25 °C, tightly closed. Do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
