Will it blur my vision? Yes, briefly. Many users apply it at night for this reason. Can I use it with day-time drops? Yes. If combining with aqueous eye drops, apply drops first, wait 5–10 minutes, then apply the ointment.How it works
The ointment forms a lubricating barrier over the eye’s surface to reduce tear evaporation
and shield against environmental irritants. Because it is ointment-based, temporary blurred vision
may occur after application—this is normal and why many people prefer to use it at bedtime.
Dosage & directions
- Wash and dry your hands.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull the lower eyelid down to create a small pocket.
- Squeeze a ~1 cm (¼-inch) ribbon of ointment into the pocket—do not touch the tip to the eye or any surface.
- Close the eye gently for 1–2 minutes; blink slowly to spread the ointment.
Adults & children: Use as needed, commonly at bedtime. May be used up to 3–4 times daily if required. For use in children under 3 months, seek medical advice first.

- Temporary blurred vision may occur after use. Avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears.
- Contact lenses: Do not use while wearing lenses. Insert lenses after vision clears and any residue is managed.
- Do not share the tube. Avoid touching the tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
- Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients (including lanolin, if present).
- Stop use & seek advice if eye pain, changes in vision, persistent redness, or irritation worsen or last >72 hours.
- Pregnancy/breastfeeding: Generally considered low systemic absorption; consult a healthcare professional if unsure.
- Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical help.
Storage & handling
- Store below 25 °C and protect from excessive heat.
- Replace the cap tightly after each use.
- Do not use if the seal is broken or after the expiry date.
Active lubricants: White soft paraffin (petrolatum) & liquid paraffin (mineral oil). May also contain lanolin derivatives (check pack).
