Flarin 200 mg Soft Liquid Capsules provide effective relief from headache, migraine, dental pain, period pain, muscular aches, backache, fever, and the aches and pains of cold and flu. Each soft capsule contains ibuprofen 200 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce pain, inflammation, and fever.- Fast-acting ibuprofen in a smooth, easy-to-swallow soft capsule

How it works
Ibuprofen is an NSAID that inhibits cyclo-oxygenase enzymes (COX-1/COX-2), helping to reduce the production of prostaglandins that contribute to pain, swelling, and fever.Dosage
Adults and adolescents 12 years and over:
- Take 1–2 capsules (200–400 mg) with water, as required.
- Leave at least 4–6 hours between doses.
- Do not exceed 6 capsules (1200 mg) in 24 hours unless a doctor has told you to.
Children under 12 years: Do not give.
Take the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary. Best taken with food or milk if you experience stomach upset.
Directions for use
- Swallow capsules whole with water; do not chew.
- For short-term use only. If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 3 days (for fever) or 10 days (for pain), seek medical advice.
- Do not use with other products that contain ibuprofen or other NSAIDs (e.g., aspirin for pain relief).
Warnings & precautions
- Allergy/previous reaction: Do not take if you have ever had a reaction (e.g., asthma, wheeze, rash, swelling) after ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
- Stomach/bleeding risk: Avoid if you have, or have had, stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe colitis, or perforation. Stop and seek help if you develop black stools, vomit blood, or severe stomach pain.
- Heart, kidney, liver: Speak to a doctor before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or if you are dehydrated.
- Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Do not take in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Consult a healthcare professional before use in the first 6 months or while breastfeeding.
- Interactions: Consult your pharmacist/doctor if you take anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin), antiplatelets (e.g., low-dose aspirin), other NSAIDs, SSRIs, corticosteroids, antihypertensives/diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, or other interacting medicines.
- Asthma: Use with caution if you have asthma or a history of asthma.
- Age limits: Not suitable for children under 12 years.
- Alcohol: Limit alcohol as it may increase the risk of stomach irritation.
If you experience rash, wheezing, swelling of the face/tongue/throat, severe stomach pain, chest pain, sudden weakness, or breathing difficulties, seek urgent medical attention.
Possible side effects
Common side effects may include indigestion, heartburn, nausea, or headache. Less commonly, dizziness, rash, or fluid retention may occur.
Serious but rare effects include gastrointestinal bleeding, severe allergic reactions, and kidney or liver problems. Discontinue use and
seek medical advice if you develop concerning symptoms.
