Dosage

Always read the label and leaflet before use.

Adults, the elderly and adolescents (12–18 years):

• Take 1–2 tablets (200–400mg) with water.
• If needed, take a further dose every 4–6 hours.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets (1200mg) in 24 hours unless advised by a doctor.

Children under 12 years: Not recommended unless advised by a doctor.

Take with food or shortly after food to reduce the chance of stomach upset.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not take if:

• You are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or any other NSAIDs.
• You have (or have had) a stomach/duodenal ulcer, bleeding, or perforation.
• You have severe heart, kidney, or liver problems.
• You are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking if:

• You have asthma or a history of allergic disease.
• You have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or you smoke.
• You have kidney, liver, or bowel problems (e.g. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis).
• You are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• You are taking other medicines, especially blood thinners (e.g. warfarin), aspirin, other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, diuretics, or medicines for high blood pressure.

Stop taking and seek medical help immediately if you experience:

• Signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing, or severe skin rash.
• Bloody or black stools, or vomiting blood – these may be signs of stomach bleeding.
• Unexplained tiredness, fever, sore throat, or bruising.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Do not take ibuprofen in the last 3 months of pregnancy. In the first 6 months of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 25°C in the original pack.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
