What it is

Doublebase Dayleve is a hydrating gel designed to soften, moisturise and protect very dry, chapped or irritated skin. Its advanced gel base locks in moisture and provides protection with the convenience of twice-daily application.

How to use

Apply to affected skin morning and night, and additionally as often as necessary.
Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the gel in the direction of hair growth. Do not rub vigorously.
If there is excess gel, allow time for it to soak in.
May be applied before washing, showering or bathing to help prevent further drying.

Tip: Continue regular use even when skin improves to help maintain hydration.

Dosage

Use sufficient gel to thinly cover the affected area. Typical frequency is twice daily (morning and night) and up to several times daily if needed for very dry areas.

Fire hazard: Clothing, bedding, dressings and other fabrics that have been in contact with this (or any) emollient can catch fire more easily.
Keep away from flames, cigarettes, and heat sources. Change/ wash fabrics regularly at high temperatures; build-up may not be fully removed even after washing.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, inside the mouth or nose, and broken skin. If irritation occurs, stop use and seek advice.
Slipping risk: Take care on smooth surfaces (bath/shower/floor) after use.
Allergy: Do not use if you are sensitive to any ingredient. Discontinue if a rash or irritation develops.
Pregnancy/breast-feeding: Generally considered suitable as an emollient; if unsure, ask a healthcare professional.
Use with other treatments: If also using prescribed topical medicines, apply them first, allow to absorb, then apply the emollient unless advised otherwise.
Children: Supervise use to avoid accidental ingestion or contact with eyes.
