Dosage & Directions

For adults and adolescents (12+). Always read the label and patient information leaflet. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Constipation (usual use)

• 1 sachet dissolved in water, 1–3 times daily, according to response.

How to prepare

1. Empty the contents of one sachet into a glass.
2. Add ~125 ml (half a glass) of water.
3. Stir until completely dissolved; drink the solution.

Relief time can vary; regular use for several days may be needed for full effect. Maintain good hydration and fibre intake unless advised otherwise by a clinician.

Warnings & Precautions

• Not for children under 12 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
• Do not use if you are allergic to macrogol (PEG) or any ingredient listed in the leaflet.
• Phenylketonuria (PKU): some packs/flavours contain aspartame (a source of phenylalanine).
• Electrolyte conditions: consult your doctor if you have kidney, heart, or fluid/electrolyte problems, are on a low-sodium or low-potassium diet, or take diuretics/ACE inhibitors.
• Pregnancy & breastfeeding: seek medical advice before use.
• Severe symptoms: if you have sudden severe abdominal pain, fever, unexplained weight loss, blood in stools, nausea/vomiting, or symptoms persist >14 days, seek medical advice.
• Interactions: take other oral medicines at least 2 hours before or after macrogol to avoid reducing their absorption.
• Side effects: commonly bloating, wind, stomach rumbling; occasionally nausea or diarrhoea. Reduce the dose if stools become too loose.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 25°C in the original box to protect from moisture.
• Use immediately after dissolving a sachet.
