Dosage and Directions

For adults, children and older people:

1. Tilt your head and gently squeeze up to five drops into the affected ear.
2. Keep your head tilted for several minutes to allow the drops to remain in the ear.
3. Wipe away any excess liquid with a tissue.
4. Repeat in the other ear when necessary.
5. Wash your hands after use.

Repeat once or twice daily, normally for three to four days, until your hearing improves and
discomfort is reduced. Do not plug the ear with loose cotton wool.

Use only in the ears. Always read the enclosed patient information leaflet before use.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to urea hydrogen peroxide or any other ingredient.
• Do not use if your eardrum is damaged or may be perforated.
• Do not use if you experience dizziness.
• Do not use if you have ear pain, swelling, discharge, inflammation, infection, tinnitus
  or another ear disorder.
• Do not use if you have a history of ear problems unless advised and supervised by a doctor,
  nurse or pharmacist.
• Do not use at the same time as other ear drops, ear products or a hearing aid.
• Do not use following attempts to remove wax with fingernails, cotton buds or other implements,
  as the ear canal may have been damaged.
• Do not use within two to three days of having your ears syringed.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water for 10–15 minutes.
• Stop using the drops and seek medical advice if irritation, pain or an unpleasant taste occurs.
• Speak to a doctor, nurse or pharmacist if symptoms persist, worsen or do not improve after
  treatment.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

A temporary mild bubbling sensation may occur as oxygen is released and the ear wax begins to
break down. The drops may temporarily worsen discomfort, hearing loss, dizziness or tinnitus.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Urea hydrogen peroxide 5% w/w.

Other ingredients: 8-hydroxyquinoline and glycerol.

Storage

• Store below 25°C in a cool place away from sunlight.
• Keep the bottle upright in its original carton.
• Replace the cap tightly after each use.
• Discard the bottle four weeks after first opening.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
