How it works

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). When applied to the skin, it helps reduce the production of local inflammatory chemicals (prostaglandins), easing pain, inflammation, and swelling with minimal systemic absorption when used as directed.

Directions & Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and over: Spray 2–5 sprays onto the affected area, up to 3–4 times daily as needed.
Hold the bottle about 10–15 cm from the skin. Spray lightly to cover the area, then allow to dry. Do not rub in if the skin is tender; gentle spreading with clean fingers is acceptable if comfortable.
Maximum duration without medical advice: Use for no more than 2 weeks for soft-tissue injuries. If symptoms persist, worsen, or recur, seek medical advice.
Children under 12 years: Not recommended unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Before you use

For external use only. Do not inhale the spray. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, lips, genitals, and inside the nose.
Do not apply to broken, infected, eczematous, or sunburnt skin. Stop use if excessive irritation develops.
Avoid occlusive dressings (air-tight bandages) unless a healthcare professional tells you otherwise.

Warnings & precautions

Allergy/previous reaction: Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any ingredient in this product (including a history of asthma, wheeze, runny nose, swelling, hives after NSAIDs).
Medical conditions: Talk to a pharmacist/doctor before use if you have asthma, stomach ulcers/bleeding, kidney, heart, or liver problems, high blood pressure, or if you are taking anticoagulants, other painkillers/NSAIDs, or aspirin.
Pregnancy: Do not use, especially in the third trimester, unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Breast-feeding: Seek medical advice before use.
Interactions: Avoid using with other medicines containing ibuprofen/NSAIDs to prevent cumulative dosing.
Flammability: The spray may contain alcohol—keep away from flames and heat sources. Allow skin to dry before dressing.
Stop and seek advice immediately if you develop a rash, swelling of the face/lips/tongue, wheezing, difficulty breathing, severe skin irritation, or if pain/swelling worsens.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

How to store
