Dosage

Adults and elderly: Take one tablet twice daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Take the tablet with a glass of water or juice, preferably within one and a half hours of a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Warnings

Do not take Accrete D3 Film-Coated Tablets if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, colecalciferol, peanut, soya, or any of the other ingredients.

This product is not suitable for children or adolescents under 18 years of age unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Do not use this medicine if you have kidney stones, severe kidney problems, high levels of calcium in your blood or urine, excessive vitamin D levels, or certain parathyroid conditions, unless advised by your doctor.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have kidney disease, sarcoidosis, are prone to kidney stones, or are taking any other medicines or supplements containing calcium or vitamin D.

Some medicines may interact with Accrete D3, including thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates, thyroid hormones, iron, zinc, strontium, phenytoin, barbiturates and cholestyramine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are taking any medication.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per tablet: Calcium carbonate 1500 mg, equivalent to 600 mg calcium, and colecalciferol 10 micrograms, equivalent to 400 IU vitamin D3.

Other ingredients include magnesium stearate, crospovidone, copovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, sucrose, gelatin, all-rac-alpha-tocopherol, hydrogenated soya-bean oil, maize starch, yellow iron oxide, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 3350 and talc.
