How to Apply
- Measure out the required amount of gel.
- Massage gently into the skin over the painful area until absorbed.
- Allow to dry before dressing. Wash hands after application.
Dosage & Directions
- Adults and adolescents 14+: Gently massage a thin layer of gel into the affected area two times daily (morning and evening).
- Use the smallest amount needed to cover the painful area (typically 2–4 g per application, roughly cherry–walnut sized).
- Wash hands after use (unless treating the hands); avoid contact with eyes, mouth, genitals and broken skin.
- Duration: For soft-tissue injuries, use for up to 14 days unless a doctor advises otherwise. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
- Under 14 years: Do not use. Consult a healthcare professional.
Active Ingredient
Diclofenac diethylamine 2.32% w/w (topical NSAID). Excipients include typical carbomer gel base and perfume (see pack for full list).
Warnings & Precautions
- Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs, or to any ingredient in this product.
- For external use only. Do not apply to broken, infected, or eczematous skin. Stop use if rash or irritation occurs.
- Avoid occlusive dressings; allow the area to breathe. Avoid excessive sunlight/UV exposure on treated areas.
- Pregnancy: Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy. In the first 6 months, use only if advised by a doctor.
- Breast-feeding: Seek medical advice; do not apply on/near the breasts.
- Interactions: Although systemic absorption is low, speak to a pharmacist/doctor if you take warfarin, other NSAIDs, aspirin, or have kidney, heart, stomach or liver problems.
- Do not cover large areas or use for longer than directed without medical advice.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage
- Store below 25°C with the cap tightly closed.
- Do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
